Guest book

A few of the comments taken from the Chalet Lenart guest book.

July 2010 - Sharon & co, Switzerland

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Lenart. The chalet is very comfortable with just about everything you could need. We enjoyed the BBQ and outside dining area and left some wood and charcoal for the next guests.

Among the places we visited were the castle and old town of Ljubljana, very pretty beside the river; Skojcan caves and Predjama Castle; Krvavec was great for walking. We visited Bled on our last day – very pretty and lots to do, sightseeing, swimming and the toboggan type run. Plus from Friday to Sunday there’s an arts and crafts market.

July 2011 - the Fortune family, Switzerland

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on our last night in this chalet. We loved having our meals at the outside table overlooking the valley below. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a nice location as we did day trips every day. Slovenia is such an enjoyable country. Places we visited would be highly recommended; Lake Bled, old town and castle in Ljubljana, hiking near lake Bohinj, the caves at Skojcan, Adriatic sea at Piran and shopping in Ljubljana. There was so much more to see and do but that will be for our next visit to Slovenia.

We enjoyed the wireless internet, movie nights, books to read, travel books available and the well-equipped kitchen to cook our meals. The beds were comfortable and the decorating in the chalet was tasteful! Thanks for providing us with a great place to stay – we loved our holiday.

August 2011 – the McKeown family, London

All the family fell in love with Slovenia for various reasons: the open and smooth roads (but not the road signage!), the peace, the clean air, the outstanding views, the cleanliness, the helpfulness of the people, the knockout beauty of the lakes (could a more beautiful swimming spot be found?) the compact charm of Ljubljana, the epic scale of the caves at Postojna, the way the country ‘works’, the laid back attitude, the unhurried uncluttered pace, the meadow and hill walks, the Mediterranean feel of the lovely town of Piran, the fact that the countryside feels like a back drop to a Grimms fairytale.

The house itself had everything a family could need, down to the PS2 games and DVDs for young and old(er). Fantastic views from the balconies and all mod cons to ensure the holiday stayed as work free as possible. We’ve had a wonderful holiday – many thanks!
